What it does
Scan channels, summarize threads, post, and react with privacy-aware context sharing. The Slackintegration runs in your assistant's permission sandbox; you control what it can read, write, and act on.
Setup
Say “Set up Slack.” Your assistant walks you through the authentication flow and confirms what it can access before any action runs.
Common prompts
- “What's new in Slack?”
- “Summarize my recent activity in Slack.”
- “Show me what needs my attention today.”
Tips & gotchas
- Scoped permissions.Your assistant only requests the scopes it needs for the actions you've approved.
- Per-channel control. If you use multiple channels, you can restrict Slack access on a per-channel basis.
- Revoke anytime. Disconnect from your assistant settings or from Slack directly; tokens are cleared on both sides.
